This is a heavily modified ROM hack for the original Winning Eleven 2002 PlayStation (PS1). Built on the game engine of World Soccer Winning Eleven 2002, this fan-made classic completely overhauls the game to feature the teams, rosters, kits, and nostalgic atmosphere of the iconic 1986 World Cup in Mexico.
The game features the 24 national teams that officially qualified for the legendary 1986 World Cup in Mexico, accurately split into their original six tournament groups:
